Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lunara iOS app. By downloading or using Lunara you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Lunara is provided by AJ Software Development Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17191882, whose registered office is 19 Vale Gardens, Ince, Wigan, England, WN3 4JD. References to "we", "us" and "our" in these Terms mean AJ Software Development Limited. These Terms form an agreement between you and AJ Software Development Limited.

Important health notice: Lunara is a wellbeing and self-help tool based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) principles. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Lunara is not a substitute for professional healthcare. Always consult a qualified clinician about any sleep, mental-health or medical concern, and seek urgent help if you are in crisis. Do not disregard professional advice because of something you read in the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lunara. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Subscriptions, free trial & billing

Lunara Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Pricing is shown in the app at the point of purchase in your local currency (for example, a monthly plan). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically and your Apple ID is charged for the next period.
The subscription renews automatically each period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's standard terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.

5. Apple Standard EULA

Your licence to use Lunara is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the stricter provision applies.

6. Intellectual property

Lunara, its content, design and software are owned by us and protected by law. The data you create (your logs, journal entries and AI conversations) remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that insights, scores or AI-generated content are accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual circumstances. Sleep data imported from third parties (e.g. Apple Health) may be incomplete or inaccurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Lunara and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer-protection law grants you rights that cannot be excluded.
